python ftp script

hello,

im new to python so please forgive my lameness :D

i want to make a script that will login to a ftp server and will issue a raw ftp command with a large argument, something like MKD AAAAAAAAA......AAAAAA
what ive done so far:

import ftplib
from ftplib import FTP
ftp = FTP('127.0.0.1')
ftp.login('gigi','passwd')
ftp.sendcmd('MKD 'A'*100') //here's the problem
ftp.quit()

i tryed to make something like
test='A'*100
ftp.sendcmd('MKD 'test') // this doesnt work too

is it possible to trigger a pyhton scrpit from an ASP.NET page which also provides paramaters to the script for modifying a poser figure??

also is there a poser module that can be plugged into python.net
