can't install a python app, due to what I think are LD_LIBRARY_PATH issues

This is the box and the variables.

ewitkop $ uname -a
SunOS remnssdtoolsp01 5.9 Generic_118558-03 sun4u sparc SUNW,UltraAX-i2

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=:/usr/lib:/usr/local/lib:/opt/sfw/lib:/usr/sfw/lib:/usr/local/lib/python2.3/site-packages/roundup:/usr/lib/lwp:/usr/local/lib/python2.3:/usr/local/lib/python2.3/site-packages/roundup/scripts

When I go to call a python script to initialize the database, it
appears it cannot find the right files.

$ roundup-admin initialise
Enter tracker home: /opt/roundup/trackers/support

I have 777'ed every file that I can think of that may be called and
nothing is working. I know this is probably not the best forum for this
question but the roundup user list does not respond to any of my
emails. If anyone could help, I would be very appreciative.

Thanks.
