Whither python24.dll? {WinCvs 2.0 and Python}

It seems that WinCvs needs a python??.dll runtime but that when I
install Python2.4 it doesn't include this dll.

Python 2.3 does.

What's the recommendation here?

Where do you get this impression? python-2.4.msi most certainly
includes python24.dll.
Python 2.3 does.

Change the WinCVS source code to actually look for python24.dll,
instead of just looking for python21.dll, python22.dll, and
python23.dll.
