gcc 3.4.1

hello when i compile @ make with python 2.3.4 comes this error

c++ -pthread -Xlinker -export-dynamic -o python \
Modules/python.o \
libpython2.3.a -lpthread -ldl -lutil -lm
/usr/bin/ld: Dwarf Error: Invalid or unhandled FORM value: 14.
libpython2.3.a(posixmodule.o): In function `posix_tmpnam':
/usr/src/Python-2.3.4/./Modules/posixmodule.c:6063: the use of `tmpnam_r' is
dangerous, better use `mkstemp'
