eMaximarket Auctions provides RSS feeds

Are there any uses for rss feeds on commercial websites selling
products/services?

Yes!

I've just realized that eMaximarket Auctions
( http://www.emaximarket.com ) provides RSS feeds.

For example, if you want to keep track of Art items for sale, you can
use this feed:
http://www.emaximarket.com/auction_html/art/feed.xml

To import all feeds: http://www.emaximarket.com/index.opml

---------------------------------------
If you have a personal Website, you can use these feeds to add
emaximarket.com auctions headlines to your pages,
more....

= view a eMaximarket auctions search as a blog
= view a eMaximarket auctions search in any rss reader, with all the
functionality your client provides
= read eMaximarket auctions posts on a small device, even a cellfone
(using rss-wml)
= possibly the most useful: be notified of new items that match your
search,
by using a ‘differential' rss client, like rss2email

"just realized" ?? What kept you so long? It's your site, after all -
you advertised it already:
<http://groups.google.com/groups?selm=7fbe4113.0407020626.5e9a32ac%40posting .google.com&output=gplain>
Spam from a GMAIL account holder. It was only a question of time.

So why did you repeat the entire spam?

.... and x-post it all over usenet? The least one could do is set a
suitable follow-up.
