Python email-dir.py help


Howto to run email-dir.py from the example with the correct parameters .
chuck@sevenofnine:~>python email-dir.py -d /home/chuck/Mail/Inbox msgfile get
the following error .

chuck@sevenofnine:~> python email-dir.py msgfile
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "email-dir.py", line 83, in ?
main()
File "email-dir.py", line 58, in main
fp = open(msgfile)
IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'msgfile'

chuck@sevenofnine:~>python email-dir.py -d /home/chuck/Mail/Inbox

chuck@sevenofnine:~>python email-dir.py

Thus get this prompt>

Unpack a MIME message into a directory of files.

Usage: unpackmail [options] msgfile

Options:
-h / --help
Print this message and exit.

-d directory
--directory=directory
Unpack the MIME message into the named directory, which will be
created if it doesn't already exist.

msgfile is the path to the file containing the MIME message.
