dropping priveledges

Any way to get a python script to run with a specified user priveledges?

I have a script that has to run as a specific user.

Thanks,

-Kamus

For portability, doing it outside of the script is a better idea, eg.
using su or sudo, etc. Otherwise,

import os
help(os.setuid)
help(os.seteuid)
