How's this a new release? I thought this version was released in September?

I have been very seriously considering getting BlackAdder but at this point, I'm not sure the best
thing to do. If I bought it today, when Ruby is added to it will I get to upgrade of will I have to
buy another copy? Will theKompany still be in business then?
