Would this be Guido's pen?

http://www.empirepens.com/signum_python.html

Unfortunately, it will have to come down to around $200-250 before I
can justify it. I only have two pens >$300, and half my limited editions
are <$200

They've apparently redesigned the lock -- but since that page is
dated 2003, I wonder if I have the newer design. Rather than the oval
shape, mine actually has a snake-head shape (used to lock a Vespa to the
hitch receiver of my Jeep).

"Each cap in this series is hand covered with genuine python."

Am I to understand that they actually mean real python skin, as opposed to
a 'genuine' python skin design on whatever material? Is there a European
fetish for the real thing?
