Hi,

Is there a way to get network parameters (number of network interfaces,
ip address(es), DNS, gateway) on a linux station using python 2.3 ?

Sure.

- number of network interfaces, ip address(es), gateway: read from /proc
- DNS: read /etc/resolv.conf
