wxPython StyledTextCtrl and tabs?

Does anyone know of a way to make the wxPython StyledTextCtrl expand
tabs into spaces? (yes, I'm trying to use it to edit Python code :P)

Maybe the SetUseTabs() method helps. See this page

<http://www.yellowbrain.com/stc/guides.html#setusetabs>

and the summary at the top. Disclaimer: untested.
