socket.sslerror:(1, 'error:140770FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unknown protocol')

socket.sslerror:(1, 'error:140770FC:SSL
routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unknown protocol')

Got this from another computer/setup, which I cannot debug. What can be the
cause for this problem?

Python 2.3.5
