Python port on Palm Treo?

Has anyone done or worked on a port of Python to the Treo?

I'm not aware of any Treo dedicated port, but as Treo is running Palm,
the Palm port of Python should be OK (if I remember well it's pypi or
pipy, standing for PYthon for palm PIlot)
