Python-2.4.1 Build error on AIX

All,
I get the below error when trying to build python on
AIX.

Is there a way to ignore _tkinter.

Please help

I do the following in my command line.

export CC=gcc

ld: 0706-006 Cannot find or open library file: -l
tk8.3
ld:open(): A file or directory in the path
name does not exist.
ld: 0706-006 Cannot find or open library file: -l
tcl8.3
ld:open(): A file or directory in the path
name does not exist.
*** WARNING: renaming "_tkinter" since importing it
failed: No such file or directory
error: No such file or directory
make: *** [sharedmods] Error 1

Yes. Just ignore these error messages.
