Hello, I would like to create a set of very similar regular expression. In my initial thought, I'd hoped to create a regular expression with a variable inside of it that I could simply pass a string into by defining this variable elsewhere in my module/function/class where I compile the regular expression, thus making for an easy substitution. However, still after JFGI'ing, I still cannot find the syntax to place a variable inside a...

I am working on a project which relies on being able to generate several hundred simple HTML documents, based on records from an Access database. I'm new to VBA, so I'm not sure if it can do what I want - to insert values from the database into HTML (like <p>ValueFromField1</p>) and save the resulting code as .htm files. All I need to know is if it is vaguely possible, or if I should try another method (suggestions welcome!).

Hello, Does anyone know if there is a library or a sample project that can parse strings with mathematical expressions inside ? eg. string math = "(23 + 48) ^ 2 - (7.76 * 3.14)"; parser should calculate the result of this. Atm I have my own parser, but it can only handle very simple expressions with 2 operands eg. (34 * 89), I tried to expand the

Given the following: static_cast<T>( expr ) This will evaluate to an l-value if T is a reference type -- otherwise it will evaluate to an r-value. The same goes for reinterpret_cast. I've been trying to write an "implicit_cast", but I don't think it's

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
