Could someone confirm that modules like socket don't use libraries/

Hello, I want my scripts to be warning and error free. Is it possible to check is a file has already been included as part of a "require", "require_once" or "include" call in the script? I guess I could just include everything and turn warnings/errors off, but I'd prefer not to do that. Much thanks -

I'm running a website that uses CSS to format the text and a CGI program Coranto that icludes news updates via SSI. My problem is that some parts of the CSS don't seem to take effect on the included news. All four link styles are used, and all four work in the included text files. The text styles, on the other hand, seem not to work at all....

Pardon my naivety, you would think maybe I'd understand this by now, but I've always kind of wondered about it. I've been curious why one of the biggest points used to promote Python is that it has "batteries included." True, this is a great feature, but the way it's been used seems to suggest that other languages *don't* have this benefit....

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
