Hi All! General statement: FK should not be nullabe to avoid orphans in DB. Real life: Business rule says that not every record will have a parent. It is implemented as a child record has FK that is null.

I am attempting to open, change, save, and then redirect to the changed Excel workbook in VB.NET on the intranet site.. It works fine in debug, but after putting it on server I get a ‘Document not saved' error message when attempting to save the workbook. The xls file I am opening is not read only, I am setting the ReadOnly parameter of open method of the workbook to False(even though it is that by default), and I gave ASPNET user Full...

Background: I have taken an excel spreadsheet with the formatting I want, saved it as XML, then converted it to an XSL document to use it as a sort of template. Added some for-each select functionality and am able to populate it with data from good old Northwind. Everything is working great except one exasperating problem: the final XML document does not include an xml declaration (i.e. <?xml version="1.0"?>). It seems that the...

But I can not find a way to destroy Excel process, it still hangs in the taks manager' Processes as running. I am trying very simple code (see below), but Excel wont go away, I tried just about anything I could find on MSDN or by Google. Even calling WIN32 API to destroy Excel. But...

Hi I would like to 1. import an existing Excel-sheet (a template) 2. and add some data to it 3. and save it under a different name afterwards. To me it seems, that pyExcelerator does not support the reading for modification of an Excel-sheet. It allows only the "parse_xls" but I would like to keep the "formatting" in the template.

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
