date to digit

Is there a program in python that inputs a date & a
time, for example: “2005-04-17 04:20+0000”. And
returns a digit, for example: “3501” instead?

and if there is such program or built-in function, how
can I run it inside a code?

Here you go:
a = time.strptime(" 2005-04-17 04:20", "%Y-%m-%d %H:%M")

It has appeared that ancient sources give a method for Numeric Date Validation that involves numerous tests to determine month length; versions are often posted by incomers here. That sort of code seems unnecessarily long. For some while, the following approach has been given here :- function ValidDate(y, m, d) { // m = 0..11 ; y m d integers, y!=0

I have a report that shows a date along with many other fields, I am trying to keep this date field as small as possible to make room for other fields so I want it to be a 6 digit date. My problem is that Windows default Short Date uses 8 digits not 6 so when I distribute my DB the user has to change the standard regional settings, what I want to do is format the date to be 6 digits. I have tried setting the fields Format to DD\MM\YY...

Hello all I'm going to try and be brief with my question, please tell me if I have the wrong group. We are querying transaction data from a DB3 database application. The dates are stored as text fields. Each date for example 10/31/03 or October 31st 2003 is stored as 10/31/A3 in the system. My reasoning for this is because they couldn't solve their Y2K problem or this is their solution to it. All dates prior to 2000 are stored...

I have a problem that at first glance seems not that hard to figure out. But, so far, the answer has escaped me. I have an old database file that has the date(s) stored in it as number of days. An example is: 36,525 represents 01/01/1900. The starting point date is considered to be : 00/00/0000. I have looked thru Help and used Google and have not really found an answer. I know that Leap Years need to be accounted for too. Any...

I set the input mask for the date field to "00/00/00;0_" but instead of showing a 6 digit date such as 01/01/06, I receive 01/01/2006 an 8 digit date! Is there a manner in which I can over ride this?...In the table containing this date field? Or by way of the textbox control in which the date is entered on my subform? Thanks!,

How can I convert a date string to a number (e.g. a time_t value or a tm struct)? I know about the strptime function, but then I have to know the format string. And that is a problem. I'm trying to autoformat the contents of text entries in a GUI. For numbers, I'm converting the text representation to the appropriate type (using atoi, atof, ...) and converting the result back to text with the correct format (using sprintf). But this does...

Hello everyone. I am experiencing a strange problem that I can't fix on my own. I think I need expert's suggestions for this. The problem is: I want to print account statement (or any other report) from VB form based on an entered date in the masked fields (dd/mm/yy). I am using one form to display five reports. I send date to display report after formatting it (m/dd/yy). When I enter date range like this in masked textbox (DD/MM/YY) ...

Hello, I have a couple of textboxes where I enter a date range (From - To), I need to validate that the Date From is greater (future) or at least equal to the Date From, or else give an error. I almost made it work, when I use the same format in the year (2 digits, or 4 digits) in both dates, but when one of them has a 2 digit year and the other 4 digit year, it does not work?? Is there a simple way to do this? I've been looking in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
