PIL.Image.fromb uffer/string ... who do data using?

hello again everyone!

I'm writing a wrapper for tif file that parse its and return the data
image in this way below :

self.fp.seek(St ripOffsets)
data = self.fp.read(St ripByteCounts)
return data

where:
self.fp is a file object
StripOffsets is a offset position of image
StripByCounts is extend of image

after we get a data, now to set its in PIL.Image.froms tring(...)
but ( evely! :) ), returned this error follow:

ValueError
"not enough image data"

why???

Should I to convert data in other format???

any suggestion?

Thanks and regard.

Why are you doing it this way instead of just using Image.open()? PIL
already knows how to read and convert TIFF images...

yes! for all format it can decode, except for compression G3/G4.
I'm searching a method for decode this compression format

Hello there, I am at my wit's end ! I have used the following script succesfully to upload an image to my web space. But what I really want to be able to do is to update an existing record in a table in MySQL with the path & filename to the image. I have successfully uploaded and performed an update query on the database, but the problem I have is I cannot retain the primary key field in a variable which is then used in a SQL update...

I know that uploading an image to a database has been covered, oh, about 3 trillion times. However, I haven't found anything covering uploading to a MySQL database with .net. Please don't recommend storing the image to the filesystem and only keeping a pointer to that in the table. I want to dump the image to a table. My code dumps the data into the table, however, I get the following error when trying to view the image "the image ......

Hi, I am trying to read an image from MS Access DB based on the following article: http://www.vbdotnetheaven.com/Code/Sept2003/2175.asp The article author is using PictureBox for windows application, while I am doing for web. I can only find Image from web forms control and HTML control. This may be the root cause of my problem. For read button, I converted his VB to the C#. But the compiler complains:

I'm caching a dataset in an asp.net session variable to hold a user's data. one data item I need to store is an image the user uploaded. My problem is that I don't know how to get the image into the dataset because I don't know what datatype to set the dataset column and then set this image to. I saw an example where someone defended a datatable in the global class and defined the column as an object, however, when I define a strongly...

I'm trying to read in a FITs image file for my research, and I decided that writing a file decoder for the Python imaging library would be the easiest way to accomplish this for my needs. FITs is a raw data format used in astronomy. Anyway, I followed the example in the PIL documentation online, and I also had a look at the FITs image stub file included with PIL 1.1.5. I cooked up something that should work (or nearly work), but I keep...

I am trying to set up an Image authorization where you type in the value that is in a picture to log on to our site. I found a program that is supposed to do it, but it doesn't seem to work. It should put a blue and yellow box on the page with "This is a test" as part of the picture. But what I get is a broken Gif. The other problem is that I can't view the source???? The view source is disabled for this page. What causes this?

Introduction In this article I will provide you an approach to manipulate an image file. This article gives you an insight into some tricks in java so that you can conceal sensitive information inside an image, hide your complete image as text ,search for a particular image inside a directory, minimize the size of the image. However this is not a new concept, there is a concept called Steganography which enables to conceal your secret...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
