I'm having trouble with python on MacOSX 10.3. I wrote an extension module, in C, and got it to compile and run just fine, in MacOSX 10.2, using the MacPython 2.3 package that I downloaded. But when I copied my stuff over to my computer that had MacOSX 10.3(.7), and the out-of-the-box MacPython 2.3 that comes installed with it, I can no longer use my extension module, or run any new ones that I compile. It appears to compile just fine...

I just upgraded to v1.1 of the framework and VS.Net 2003. I opened up one of my solutions and rebuilt my project and all went well. I then ran my project in debug mode. My program runs up fine, but then I try to open up a file that it typically works with, my program has custom serialization to a file for work that users do. This has always worked in the past, as I could open and resave my files with no problems. Now I am unable to...

Firstly, I'm not tied to a c++ solution and would like to also post in a group dedicated to open source concepts if such a one can be pointed out to me. I'd like to run a sever where web-based or other clients can connect to voice chat rooms e.g. teamspeak or ventrillo solutions for gamers. However, I would like to use an open-source solution in order to add a few specificities my service demands and was wondering if anyone knows where...

Hello, I've been think of creating a voice-chat application, kind of like skype/ventrilo but very simplified; just something small that works. Now I am using windows 7 with microsoft visual studio 2010 in the .net 4 framework... which means I supposedly can't use directx (or rather I have no idea how to get it to work, everyone says its not supported anymore for C#) So is my project doomed? I basically just want the most basicc form of...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
