Hi, Can anyone provide me with sample code that will allow me to use SOAPpy with a WSDL file using HTTP basic authentication? The only thing I've been able to find on the net is SOAPpy.URLopener. However, I am unclear what the relationship is between SOAPpy.URLopener and SOAPpy.WSDL is. Is it as straightforward as this? > from SOAPpy import WSDL

I'm trying to setup a SOAPpy service under xinetd. Has someone done this sort of thing? Didn't find it from google searches or documentation. This is probably a sockets-level issue, but I was hoping someone in python land had done this with SOAPpy before. The server works fine as simple SOAP server and client pair on localhost. But when I try to put it under xinetd, it fails. Using "xinetd -d" I can see it is failing due to address...

Hi, I am using python SOAPpy module to call a web service. Call to web service gets executed successfully. I am facing a problem if the call to WS results into redirect. I get "HTTPError: <HTTPError 302 Moved Temporarily>" If I enable the debug info, I do get the new redirected url. How do I divert my WS request to new url?

Note: this is in reply to a message from August 2 which i found searching for help on my own problem. I couldn't seem to reply to it, but a friend suggested that simply using the same subject would put it in that thread. In case he's wrong, i quoted the previous comments . Can anyone offer any assistance as to how to convert a basic python dictionary, list, or even tuple into the SOAP type "ArrayOfKeyValue"? I am currently using SOAPpy, but would be willing to change to ZSI or something else if it made this conversion easier. I have tried with the arrayType and structType methods in SOAPpy.Types, yet they don't seem to do what I need. I suspect there might not be just a single method call, so, I wrote...

I am trying to use a webservice with SOAPpy: import SOAPpy intact_wsdl = "http://www.ebi.ac.uk/intact/binary-search-ws/binarysearch?wsdl" intact_serv = SOAPpy.WSDL.Proxy(intact_wsdl) The resulting error message is posted below. If I understand it right, XMLSchema.py complains about the imported XSD namespace being the same as the existing targetNamespace.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
