PyNew_Interpret er(): "Fatal Python error, invalid thread state for this thread" question

Trying to grasp Py_NewInterpret er()in a simple app embedding Python, I was
wondering why the following gives me an error:

int main() {

PyThreadState *tstate;

Py_Initialize() ;
//The following returns
//Fatal Python error, invalid thread state for this thread
tstate = Py_NewInterpret er();

Python is 2.3.3c1 on Win XP
Pointers much appreciated

if you assign multiple classes in order to keep your classes generic e.g ..classA { position.absolute; left:5 top:5 height:200 width:800 } ..classB { background-color: red} ..classC { background-color: green} <div id="div1" class="classA classB" ... but then want to dynamically assign a new class

I have read the years-old threads on this topic, but I wanted to confirm what they suggest. . . Can the this pointer EVER point to a type different from the class that contains the member function that the this pointer is being used in? That is, is the type of the this pointer always determined entirely syntactically (and never...

Here's a puzzle I can't figure out. I visited the page http://validator.w3.org, and confirmed that it validates itself. Then I *saved* it to my docroot directory using my browser's save-as function, and then tried to submit this saved page for validation. Now it generates 17 errors, of the form: end tag for "link" omitted, but OMITTAG...

Hello, i'm trying to program a thread that would be locked (by a mutex) and that would only be unlocked once that a function is done. The purpose is to generate data, and unlock the mutex in order to activate the thread once the data is generated. step 1: initialize the mutex mx (the mutex is part of the class "cl") class Client

Hello. The question about "deleting this inside the class's member function" is discussed many times in this group and in the "C++ FAQs". But I still have two more questions. 1. Take the following class as an example: class Test { public: static void print_message(char *s) { printf("%s\n", s); } void delete_me()

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...
