How to read all files in a directory

Dear All,

My python application is small. It reads data from a file.
My code is:
fileName = '900128.DAT'
dataFile = open(fileName, 'r').readlines( )
I have to run 100 input files .DAT. Each time I run application, I have
to change code fileName to a new one. For example, fileName
= 'NewFile.DAT'.
I do not know how I can process all file with extension .DAT in a
specific directory once only.

Any suggestion will be appreciated,

Thank you.

I'm trying to delete a directory that contains readonly files. Is there any easy way to do this? I get a System.UnauthorizedAccessException when a read only file is encountered. Is there a way to make c# ignore a read only flag, or perhaps set the read only flag for the directory and have it apply to all files? just wondering what the...

Ive written a small string resource building utility that I send out to our translators. I have a setup project for each language we support, which picks out a group of 12 english resx files plus their paired "foreign" resx for that language only and installs those resource files in a subdirectory somewhere. I'm trying to create a setup...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
