Hello,

I would like to clear some of my doubts..

1) Can anybody tell me the exact difference between
Pay Per Click and Pay Per Impression ?
with some examples.

2) If I include one of them into my website, which type of advertisement can give me higher revenue (I mean Pay Per Click or Pay Per Impression)?

3) Can you suggest me the best advertisement subscription for my website?
(like google adsense, yahoo publisher n/w) or even better than that?

Thanks in adv.

google! wikipedia! - i never heard about these words before..
what is the purpose of this forum, if google and wikipedia is there?
just to provide their search links?
i was expecting exact answers from experts.

@ssnaik84
time that you knew them ;)

@ssnaik84
sometimes google and wikipedia can solve a certain problem and sometimes they can’t. for the latter this forum exists and for the former there are some friendly people that point you there.

if you got the hang of that, you can solve some of your problems much more faster.

@ssnaik84
provided that there are such experts. If I were to give you an exact answer (which btw I did for two of the three points), and I’m not such an expert, I’d have to look up the information too.

I don't know much about it but I did find this site a few months back when I was looking into ad revenue for a site I am thinking of starting. Read his 8 part series on increasing ad revenue. it explains different types of ad revenue (ie: click, impression and some others), it gives many different sites for ads other than the 2 you mentioned, how to focus the ads for your site, etc.

cheers,

Hey Swapnil,

I hope you weren't put off by Dormi's response to your question...his humor takes sometimes takes bit to get used to if you're not a native English speaker (ironic... because he's not a native English speaker either). I'm sure you'll understand him better the longer you stick around on bytes.

I think your question would be better directed to someone in marketing though. I think that you'll find that a lot of the expertise in this forum is in technical fields as apposed to marketing.

Good luck with the decision...I know that one day I'll probably be looking into the exact same question you are right now and maybe you can help me make the decision at that point :)

Both provide revenue but I suggest PPC is better than Pay Per Impression ..You need to follow affiliate marketing
