PostgreSQL v9.3

I use a statistical program that runs on PostgreSQL v9.3 and among it many features it allows user to create our own custom statistics, there´s a se of statistics that i need but unfortunally this statistical software developer didnt thought they were that important as to add it columns to the cache so it performance is really bad...is there a way to add columns to the PostgreSQL cache so we can improve it performance? Thanksˇ!ˇ
