Trigger problem

hi experts,
can a function be triggered every day. for example if i want to run a query everyday, how can i write a trigger. i wrote a trigger which runs only when some event occurs but i need it to run automatically say in the specific time lets say.

Under Linux you can use cron with a script file, but better way is to use pgagent. To use pgagent you need pgadmin3.
