Performance Tuning

P: 1
Hi Experts,

I am new to PostgreSQL. I got a task to optimize quries which are executed in my database. My frontend is Java and the middleware is hybernate. The queries are automatically created and executed from the database.

1) How can I check what all quries are getting executed.

2) Is there anything in postgreSQL like SQL profiler which we have in SQL Server?

3) How do we start doing performance tuning? Please send me any reference which I can follow.

Thanks in advance.
