Postgresql Reinstallation problem on Windows

Hi

I am trying to reinstall postgresql on windows.During the installtion it is showing the following error.

The files belonging to this database system will be owned by user "postgres".
This user must also own the server process.
The database cluster will be initialized with locale C.
fixing permissions on existing directory C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.2/data ... ok
creating subdirectories ... ok
selecting default max_connections ... 10
selecting default shared_buffers/max_fsm_pages ... 400kB/20000
creating configuration files ... ok
creating template1 database in C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.2/data/base/1 ... initdb: could not execute command ""C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.2/bin/postgres.exe" --boot -x1 -F template1": Invalid argument
initdb: removing contents of data directory "C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.2/data"



How can i solve the problem
