oid problem

postgres version 8.1.3, operating system redhat-enterprise 3

when selecting oid from tbl1, it returns nothing giving the message, "Column oid does not exist".
plz any help will be appriciated

In Postgresql 8.x the OIDs are turned off by default, so if you need them you have to explicitly specify that in CREATE TABLE command.
