scripts for converting dbf or mdb files to postgres

Hi all ,
could you please sen me some sample scripts to convert dbf files to postgres .please help me in code i'm a beginner

If you don't see anything you can use try to run a Google search, something like "postgresql migration" should yield enough results to find some good third party tools.

Also if you can dump your tables into delimited flat files (like CSV files) you should be able to use the Postgresql COPY command to load the tables.
