Problem of installing PostgreSQL on Windows 2000

P: n/a
Hi there,

I am a complete newbie in PostgreSQL 8.0 and I tried to install it on a W2K
machine (no access to Linux sorry). I have a major problem: while installing
it, I was obliged to quit the installation. Afterwards when I tried to
restart the installation from zero, i couldn't go further because I don't
know the default password generated by the first try to install.

I don't know what to do to erase this password (probably in the register)
and restart from scratch. I have scanned the registry with Regedit but I
didn't discover where this PW could be recorded.

Thank you for helping me.
