Database connection problem

I have successfully installed PostgreSQL database in Windows 20000 and imported Compiere related Tables in the Database and given the port as 5432,

but when i try to set up the application towards the PostgreSQL , got the following message "Error DB Port"


Please Suggest me the Situation how to solve this problem!

It's hard to identify your problem because you did not give any information on server configuration and how exactly you are trying to connect to it.
