How can I display the stored image?

Hi all :rolleyes:

I had create a table in postgresql like this:

create table image
pic_id integer not null,
picture oid,

then how can I see/retrieve the image ?
if it can be by using a function, how it will look like?

I hope my question is so clear, please help me :(

Look at this thread. It has a reference to yet another thread with a similar question.

The links in these postings should give you enough information to start coding.
The first thing you want to do is to select the interface, whether it's SQL using the server side lo_ functions to manipulate the images, or libpq, meaning that you will be coding in C (potentially more work to do) and using the client libpq functions for the same purpose.
