select distinct with datatype point

Hello,

I created the following table:

CREATE TABLE ttable
(
z int4,
pos point
)
WITH OIDS;

My SQL-statement ist: "SELECT DISTINCT * from ttable;".

After executing this I get the following error message:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
ERROR: could not identify an ordering operator for type point
TIP: use an explicit ordering operator or modify the query
-----------------------------------------------------------------

I have find out that I have to write an operator class for the datatype point. Has anyone done it or give me further hints?
