allowing vacuum/ analyze to operate on whole schemas.


Greeting,

Will it be an useful feature to be able to
vacumm / analyze all tables in a given schema.

eg

VACUUM schema.* ;

at least for me it will be a good feature.

Command: ANALYZE

ANALYZE [ VERBOSE ] [ table [ (column [, ...] ) ] ]

tradein_clients=# \h VACUUM
Command: VACUUM
Description: garbage-collect and optionally analyze a database
Syntax:
VACUUM [ FULL ] [ FREEZE ] [ VERBOSE ] [ table ]
VACUUM [ FULL ] [ FREEZE ] [ VERBOSE ] ANALYZE [ table [ (column [, ...]
) ] ]
