Postgresql long term commercial potential?

Hi all,
I've come across an article at http://php.weblogs.com which seems
to raise concerns of PostgreSQL commercial visibility and long term
potential. What does the PostgreSQL dev team has to say about this?
As a PostgreSQL user myself I hope to hear some interesting insights
and hopefully this post won't turn into a flame war.
