Return set different in pgsql and MS Access/ODBC

I need to know why MS Access/ODBC is reporting different results than
the one shown in psql.

I created a very simple function below:

CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION public."Return_ Some_Text"()

return next \'HCM00101\';
return next \'HCM00102\';
return next \'HCM00104\';
return next \'HCM00112\';
When I use the function inside psql (it works):
testdb2=# select * from "HCM_Primary_Ke ys"();
HCM_Primary_Key s

(4 rows)

But when I use MS Access/ODBC with the same SQL statement:
I only see one row "HCM00101" when I'm expecting four rows back just
like in psql.
What can I do so that MS/Access/ODBC shows all four rows rather than
the first one?

Hi, Has anyone Pg linked to MSSQL or vice versa? I need to transfer some data MSSQL->PGSQL, but without writing a complex program. Maybe using Linked Server (MSSQL), ODBC / JDBC / OLE DB, but have no experience with this kind of jobs.

I think I already know that the answer is that this can't be done, but I'll ask anyways. Suppose you want to use an RDBMS to store messages for a threaded message forum like usenet and then display the messages. A toy table definition (that I've tried to make standards compliant) might look like: create table messages ( message_id...

How soon will 7.5 come out? (yes, I know, 7.4 is beta right now). How difficult is it to set up cygwin? I'd like to make a drop in Apache/Postgres/PHP application on a windows computer for someone in my organization. I'd PREFER to avoid ODBC if at all possible.

Not sure if this is a win installer issue or Microsoft MDAC issue... I've installed the win32 pg8.0 beta2 dev3 along with the accompanying ODBC that is packaged with the installer. Works great, love it, and all the rest. My application uses ADO 2.7 to interface with the ODBC driver. My application frequently sends status e-mails to...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
