newsgroup ot

Since I had to change from ATT to Comcast internet service, I cant use
my old newsgroup service. Can anyone rec a good free newsgroup
service so that I dont have to use google groups to post and read
messages

As a Comcast subscriber, you are entitled to a "free" 1GB/mo account at
Giganews. Of course, you'd never know that by searching Comcast.com and
Comcast.net for words like "usenet", "newsgroups", or even "Giganews" but
<http://online.comcast.net/help/faq-d...SubCategoryID=
129> has the signup procedure and <http://online.comcast.net/help/faqs.asp?intSubCategoryID=129> list other related docs.

Or, if a 50MB/day cap isn't too low for you, check out BubbaNews or
TerraNews. Both have good retention and completion and are free. Good
