How to load large nos of records in pages

How can i load large nos of records (more than ten thousands of records) per each query view and to display it in pages. Sometime, when the records is too large it would exceed the timeout request. please help.

with the little bit of information given, I can only advice to only fetch the records you want to display and use pagination for the rest.
