The <img> tag requests an image resource from a server to display in a browser. There is no way for you to retrieve data from a database in client-side code, but php (server-side) code can.

So, you need to implemented php code that will retrieve an image from the database and return it to the browser. Usually this takes an ID parameter so that it can retrieve the correct image.

Once you have that, all you need to do is generate the <img> tags for the images that you want to return and set it's src property to the URL of the php script (along with the ID parameter).
