How I generate error if it duplicates in data ?

I want a php code for genrate error because i do one project
in this project i made one login form in this login form i taken two feilds 1.Loginid and 2.Password my problem is that when i enter the emailid suppose i entered binu@yahoo.com then i submit form now again i login again i enter same id then its submited and in database come duplicates, which code i use for stop duplicates?

You don't need any code. Just set the field as unique in the database.
