create new record with rs.addnew

hi
$Query=("Select * from tabella");
$rs->open ($Query, $conn, 1);
$rs->addnew();
$rs->fields["Nome"]= $_POST['nome'];
$rs->update;
it's possible?

Yes, assuming you actually use the parentheses in:
$rs->update();

You usually create $rs by using OpenRecordset on a database object. That's
where the SQL goes. Where would $rs have come from in your example?
