Having trouble with combobox

Hello. im programing in php. When I have a regular combobox, say:

  <form action="Page1.php method="post"> 
  <label for="developer">Developer</label>
  <select name="Developer" id="Developer">
    <option value="PHP">PHP</option>
    <option value="ASP.NET">ASP.Net</option>
    <option value="jsp">JSP</option>
  </select>
<input name="" type="submit" value="Submit" />
 

the value for developer is posted to page1.php

but, when I try to submit a form with a combobox containing data from a database, like

$query=mysql_query("Select * From developers");
//} 
?>
<form action="page1.php"  method="post">
<select name=Developer, id=Developer>
<option value=""> Seleccione </option>
<?php
while ($Dev=mysql_fetch_array($query))
{
 
echo "<option value='".$Dev[Type]."' ></option>";
 
}
 
?>
</select>
<input name="" type="submit" value="Submit" />
 

the value for developer is not posted to page1.php

Your query is probably failng.
Use 'if' and echo out the returned data
