Why does my file not save on Windows 7, but does on XP?

I have a script which generates a word document for an invoice by selecting rows from databases etc.....all good worked perfectly when i tested it on my computer at work (which is a very old windows xp platform)

When i tried to run the same script at home (Windows 7) an error pops up telling me that the document can't be saved - now i know this script works perfectly because i have tested it over and over again.

Would there be a security feature that stops my Windows 7 from allowing the file to be saved?

The user the web server is running as, doesn't have write permissions on the directory in question.
