You probably have Apache started as a Service and in your startup folder (or
registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run). You just
need to disable one of them. You can disable a service by going into the
Contol Panel ---> Administration Tools ---> Services and disable it there.
If you want it out of the startup folder you can go to rstart --> run -->
type |msconfig" --> click ont the startup tab --> look for the Apache entry
and untick it --> Click Apply, then close, then restart.

Should I be seeing Apache.exe running (twice) when I ctrl/alt/delete under
processes?
I have apache installed on my XP home machine, but it's not started. When
I do start it up, I have 3 apache.exe listed running under processes, surely
this isn't right?
