Problem With login page particularly in IE....?

The content below is the form action in login.php

<form action="http://www.domainname.biz/login.php?act=post" method="post" name="loginForm" id="loginForm" onSubmit="return validate()";>

and when the page runs again

$act=$_GET["act"];
if($act=="post"){
Here some sessions will be set and if all is well then the user will be will be sucessfully logged in
}

The main Problem here is the page works well in other browsers except IE.


The URL that comes in the left bottom of browser at first contains the act http://www.domainname.com/login.php?act=post and later it shows http://www.domainname.com/login.php?....


even the $act is not initialising

HElp me what may be the problem

what you see in the left part of status bar is not a big deal.
Try this code in your php file

<?php
   print_r($_GET);
?>
 

You may find a way out
