monitor computer health through network

Hello everyone, I'm trying to make a web-based application that can monitor mulitple computer's cpu, harddisk and traffic usage on the same network for my project. Kind of similar to JFFNMS, need help with what i should study or look into or any open source codes or softwares i should look into? Thanks everyone.

PHP is server side and does not get/set client side computer information. You should look into ASP.NET and possibly Javascript, but I think ASP (Microsoft) will have more capabilities to do what you want.
