PHP application to download data

Hello

i have a personal website in php, can soemone please suggest me any good php application that i can download data from any site to my webite,
I am using phpbb3 for this, as i just want to use attachment feature, but in this first i have to download data to my desktop and then upload it to site,

PHP is a web server application. Are you looking for a data mining software?
