Take user clicked value to php page

I have a php page which is having two text boxes and there is a button. When user click that button another php page will appear as a pop up. It has a table and when user click one cell the values in that cell goes to the earlier php page and fill the text boxes. How can I do that? Please help me..

that’s a javascript issue. I remember dimly it uses window.parent or something along that line.
