help needed with phpmyadmin

28
Hi all,

I need some advice regarding phpmyadmin, I installed phpmyadmin directory in the htdocs but when I go to my http://mysite.com/phpmyadmin I get a 500 internal error. I checked the files from phpMyAdmin-3.1.3.2-english that I unziped on my desktop and compared each one to the ftp phpmyadmin directory files on the server so all files are all there. I also added config.inc.php file and put it inside phpmyadmin directory. I was wondering if anyone could offer any help.
(My previous hosting service had phpmyadmin installed but this new service provider said to install the phpmyadmin to the htdocs but I get a 500 internal error. )

Thank you in advance,
-sean

Do you possibly have an htaccess file on your server?

Ask your hosting provider for error reports of your server.
